What Is PCB

PCB, Explained Simply

PCB stands for Printed Circuit Board. It is the bare board — made of insulating material with conductive copper traces — that electronic components are mounted onto. A PCB has no components; once components are mounted and soldered, it becomes a PCBA.

PCBs are specified by layer count (single-layer, multi-layer, HDI), material (FR-4, metal-core, high-frequency), and surface finish (HASL, ENIG, OSP). Solluna sources all three specifications through our fixed partner factories.

What We Provide

Solluna's PCB Sourcing Services

PCB sourcing runs through our fixed partner factories — Solluna manages the process on your side.

Single-Layer, Multi-Layer & HDI

Boards sourced to your layer count — from simple single-layer to multi-layer and HDI, based on the design file.

Material & Surface Finish Options

FR-4, metal-core, and high-frequency materials, with HASL, ENIG, or OSP surface finishes — matched to your application.

Gerber & DFM Review

Gerber files and stack-up reviewed before production — so manufacturability issues are caught before the board is fabricated.

Consolidated with PCBA

PCB sourcing is often consolidated with components procurement into one PCBA run — boards and components arrive at the factory together.

Why Solluna PCB

PCB Sourcing Connected to Production

Your PCB order doesn't sit in isolation — it connects directly to the PCBA run and the component plan behind it.

Fixed Partner Factories

PCBs are sourced through established, fixed partner factories in China, Vietnam and Southeast Asia — not one-off trading channels.

Gerber Review Before Fabrication

Gerber files and stack-up are reviewed before the board is fabricated — so issues are caught before material and tooling costs are committed.

One Team from Design to Delivery

Design, production, and procurement sit under one Solluna team — boards are consolidated into the PCBA run without re-briefing.
